Back to School Tip #3: Get Ready the Night Before

Being prepared isn’t just for boy scouts. Packing a lunch and even choosing and laying out the next day’s clothes can do more than just help reduce morning mayhem. It helps your child feel relaxed and ready to go because all the preparation is done ahead of time.

Have your child choose what they want to wear the night before and set it out in their bedroom. Having everything set for school the night before can help reduce the first day jitters and get kids excited about the school year. It will also make the morning rush seem like a walk in the park.
